Education
This year I completed my Research Masters in Medieval History at the University College Cork, which is ranked as one of the two best Universities in Ireland. The title of the thesis was: The Hereford Mappa Mundi: A Study of Medieval Eschatology and Apocalypse. I began my bachelor's degree in 2012 and was awarded my bachelors degree at this University in English and History in 2015. I also became a qualified CELTA teacher in March 2017.
Experience
I have tutored students at undergraduate degree level in History and have assisted students with both their English language and English literature. Over the past several years I have studied Shakespeare, Chaucer and 20th-century American literature in detail as well as several genres of fiction and poetry. I am also well versed in European and World history from the Crusading period (1100 AD) until the mid-1600s. I am currently teaching English as a foreign language; however, I would love the opportunity to assist University level students with their studies and assist them in progressing onward, and upward in their respective studies.
